Steam rising from under the hood are unmistakable danger signals, but even brief overheating episodes can cause permanent oil degradation. This makes monitoring fluid levels essential, ensuring cooling system components operate correctly, and acting on any unusual symptoms are non-negotiable maintenance practices.


Changing oil on schedule is important, they are not a cure for chronic thermal stress. The most effective strategy is to prevent overheating before it starts.
